The Aquamax Eco Classic is the most basic of the range but it is far from a basic pump.
The Aquamax Eco Premium filter pump has a second inlet that allows you to power a surface skimmer as well as drawing water from the bottom of the pond. The larger models also have a seasonal flow control so that running costs are reduced even further in the winter.
The Eco Premium comes in a range of sizes including 4000, 6000, 8000, 10000, 12000, 16000 and now 20000 so you can easily find one whatever size your pond is.
For mid sized Koi ponds the Oase Aquamax Dry Pro filter pumps are hugely popular. These are stripped down versions of the Aquamax that have no cage but are designed to be dry mounted outside the pond to power a gravity fed koi filter system.
The Aquamax Eco Twin pumps are the big daddy of the range. Basically two Aquamax pumps in one cage they give you massive flow rates and the ability to control each of the pumps independently. This means you can reduce the flow rate by turning off one of the pumps to save power, and money, in the winter.
Even bigger the Aquamax Expert filter pump is a different design but can produce flow rates to satisfy even the biggest pond's needs. Up to 40,000 litres per hour at a surprisingly low wattage. These replace the earlier model Oase Profimax pump.
Oase Gravity Eco Filter Pumps are designed to take huge solids and just keep on pumping. They can be dry mounted for use with a gravity fed, bottom drain koi filter system. They used to be called Oase Optimax.
Oase are a German company with a fantastic reputation for quality.
